We be stuck in a time that ye would call the Napoleonic Era, or roughly so, anyway. The ships are still a sailing by the wind, the cannons still firin', and plenty smelly outhouses to top that off. Nelson is still kickin' and Waterloo is yet to be fought.
But there's just a few things you should note...
There ain't no noble Christopher Columbus, James Cook, or any of them lot. Instead of great explorers, or noble sailors off to war, there's us; A gang of salty, smelly old scurvy seadogs! Arrgh!!!

Odyssey, friend, and welcome aboard. If you be wondering, we're a bunch of pirates sailing and exploring the world onboard the mighty sailing frigates of the 1800s. There are no humans in this world and never have been nor will. Our lot are nomadic, no territory or nation to hold us down [unless they offer us gold, we're mercenaries as much as pirates]: We explore as we please.
There are cultures to explore and places to be. The world and historic events are based off our own, but not quite. Everything here is mildly realistic: There are no blue or pink wolves or horses [though you can get paint, tattoos and dyes, I hastily add], nor do they have superpowers and pretty much all laws of physics and nature are obeyed. It's fantasy but realistic at the same time.
So hop aboard the ship and be welcomed into her crew, for you never know if you'll live to see the morning 'round here!
